You may have seen my recent ‘Kids in the Kitchen’ post on Gifts in a Jar…well in addition to writing up that post, the kids and I have been busy at work planning Christmas gifts for their teachers, bus driver and a few other lucky select friends and family. In this weeks episode, we show just how easy and fun it is to put together a soup mix in a jar.

Plus, the fun doesn’t end when you finish putting the soup mix contents inside the jar, the kids also get to decorate the outside of the jar with the cooking instructions and any other holidays sparkle they want–this is one of Sophia’s favorite parts of the process

We based the recipe we used in the show on Jane’s Three Bean Soup Mix.
