Kids Cooking Recipe: Photon Potion

We originally shared this recipe back in 2011, BUT, it’s so0 good, we had to share it again–And this time with better pics ;D You can still see the kids demonstrate the recipe on Two Kids Cooking TV, right here! The recipe hasn’t changed one bit…still mad science looking in appearance and tastes lime-tastic!

Kids Cooking Recipe: Photon Potion

Prep Time: 5 minutes

Total Time: 15 minutes

Yield: 3 Servings

Serving Size: 1 1/4 cup

Kids Cooking Recipe: Photon Potion


  • 6 to 8 Ice Cubes
  • 1 1/2 Cups Lime Sherbet
  • 2 Cups Lemon-Lime Soda
  • 1 Cup Limeade
  • Whip Cream


  • Have the kids help pour all of the ingredients except the whip cream into a blender.
  • The kids can take turns pulsing the blender as you blend your 'potion'
  • Pour into serving glasses (we recommend science-y beakers)
  • Top with whip cream
  • Serve!
