Lazy Cooking Night: Culinary Circle Frozen Pizza Review

Posted by the Mom (aka Kelly Biedny)

So, last month was Pizza Month apparently.  Being that it is now November, the kids and I are obviously a bit late to the pizza party, but we are still huge fans of the pizza in general–you can check out our various pizza recipes at the end of this post–and we to share a review of new frozen pizza we were given the opportunity to try.  The pizza brand is Culinary Circle and our local Cub foods carries it.

I was excited to try this pizza, because of the flavors offered–they are more than just your standard sausage and pepperoni.  We tried the Italian Sausage and Carmalized Onion and the Spinach with Goat Cheese.  I liked them both, but the Spinach and Goat cheese was my favorite, and since my kids aren’t huge fans of spinach, I ate nearly the whole thing myself.  I liked it mostly because it wasn’t so crusty. Some frozen pizzas, although good, have such thick crust.

Alex, my 14 year old son, did like both, at least that’s what he said. But, not being a huge spinach fan, he opted for the Italian Sausage and Caramelized Onion. I asked him his thoughts on it and he said, ‘It’s good, especially for frozen.’

Sophia, age 10, wasn’t a fond of my flavor selections and would’ve preferred something a bit more on the plain side–say cheese only–but she did eat the sausage and onion.  She asked that next time she picks at least one of the pizzas. 😀  Luckily, they do have lots of varieties to choose from!

The price was great on this pizzas, too.  The were only $5 each at our local Cub Foods and two Pizzas was more than enough for the kids and me.

If you’re looking for a quick pull out of the freezer dinner to have on hand, these pizzas definitely fit the bill! AND, if you want to try your own, Culinary Circle is letting us give-away a $10 gift card for Cub Foods so you can try out their Pizza, too!

All you have to do to enter is complete the rafflecopter entry below which asks that you leave a comment letting us know your favorite quick, go-to dinner.  We’ll announce the winner next Sunday, November 10.

Good Luck and Happy Family Pizza Night!

I liked it…it is still a frozen pizza–not as good as homemade–but good and quick!
