Time is flying, as usual and Easter’s coming up.  We’ve shared a few new Easter items this year, but we’ve got a few other ideas from the past that we thought we’d re-share, as well. Sooo…here’s the round-up….

If you’re looking for an Easter recipe to try with the kids, here are 3:

Deviled Eggs
Deviled eggs are standard at our house at Easter time.  Since we love decorating eggs, we have to use them all up somehow and deviled is one  of our favorites. Plus, this recipe is super simple and easy to make with kids.

Chai Spice Carrot Cake
Carrot cake is great dessert for after your Easter meal.  This recipe adds chai spices, for a delicious twist.  And, as with most cakes, there’s lots of pouring, mixing and stirring so kids of any age can help.

Sesame Carrot Salad
Carrots remind me of bunnies, and bunnies remind me of Easter. That’s why this Sesame Carrot salad would be a perfect side at your Easter meal! At east I think it would 😀  As with all of our recipes, it’s easy enough for kids to help with.

If you want a crafty idea for spending Easter time with the kids, here are a few to choose from:

Easter Egg Sun Catcher
A craft perfect for any age.  With some napkins, markers and water, you’ll be on your way to creating colorful Easter egg sun catchers.

Easter Bunny Place Holders
Are you hosting an meal over the Easter holiday.  If you are, you can get the kids in on the entertainment action  by having them make these adorable place holders.

Easter Sparkle Rain Globes
These are a fun little project to make with the kids for Easter.  Plus, who can resist glitter! ;D

Easter Bunny Bottle Toppers
This is a project that’s best for older kids and/or adults, but younger kids will love the bunnies!

Make Your Own Bunny Ears and Tail
Sure, you can buy bunny ears in the store, but why not make your own with a matching tail.

Easter Bunny Goodie Bag
This one is great for making with the kids to fill with treats and give to friends.

There you have it, our 2013 Easter Round-up.  Do you have any fun recipes or ideas to add? We’d love to hear if you do, so leave a comment!

Happy Easter Everyone!
