Burgers are awesome. Alex, Soph and I are burger people...well mostly Alex and me, but Soph does eat burgers most of the time. We like Hamburgers, Turkey Burgers and our featured burger of this week, Tuna Burgers. Not only are they high in protein and low in fat, they're a great meal to make as a family...

You may have seen this episode just a couple of weeks ago, but we thought it was worth a re-share for The Kids Cook Monday. This recipe is great to make with the whole family, getting hands all messy with some hands-on burger making. Tuna is also a lighter alternative to standard burgers, and here at the Two Kids house, Alex and Soph actually prefer them to hamburgers.

Tuna of any kind is always popular at the 2 Kids house--fresh or canned, baked or fried, Alex, Soph and I all love it. In the summer during prime grilling weather, we prefer our like expand our burger palette by throwing some tuna burgers in the mix. They're also easy to make on the stove, as we demonstrate in this week's episode--and, they are perfect for making with the kids!

Alex loves fish. He would eat it everyday if he could. Actually, the only thing that stops me from feeding it to the kids more than twice a week is the mercury level worry. BUT, sometimes, one of our two fish meals for the week includes Tuna Burgers. Canned tuna really makes delicious burgers and we love 'em. And, since Alex isn't a hamburger eater, when we grill, we do traditional burgers and tuna burgers.
